Biography

Dr. K.S. Nagabhushana is a distinguished researcher with nearly 27 years of experience in Natural Products Chemistry, Organic Synthesis, Biotechnology, Nanomaterials, Food Chemistry, and Catalysis. He began his career as a Ph.D. candidate (CSIR fellow) at VMSRF, Mysore University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of the Western Cape and Rhodes University in South Africa. His international experience includes senior research positions at the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research and as Scientific In-charge at ITC-CPV, Karlsruhe/Heidelberg University. He served as an Associate Professor at the Manipal Institute of Technology and was a lead researcher at TATA Chemicals Limited’s Innovation Centre. Before joining Prayoga, he was the Chief Operating Officer at the IITB-Monash Research Academy. Dr. Nagabhushana has published over 25 international journal articles, contributed to eight book chapters, and holds 15 patents, with significant achievements in commercial product development and technology transfers.
