Dr. Ramkumar N leads the Teacher Professional Excellence initiatives at Prayoga, bringing deep expertise in educational research and teacher development. He holds a Ph.D. in Education, an M.Ed., and an M.A. in Sociology. His research interests include Whole School Change Process, Reflective Practice, Action Research, and Qualitative Research.

Before joining Prayoga in July 2024, Dr. Ramkumar conducted impactful studies on teacher professional development, including a case study on the Agastya pedagogical approach and an overview of innovations in AI education in India. Currently, he is engaged in a nationwide survey examining school teachers’ perceptions of their roles as education researchers in enhancing classroom practice.

He is also a mentor appointed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) under the National Mentoring Mission (NMM), a key recommendation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This initiative enables him to provide voluntary professional support to government school teachers across the country.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Ramkumar enjoys mobile photography, theatre, and reading—interests that reflect his creative and reflective personality.
