Statistician
Kiran Prashanth is a Statistician at Prayoga, bringing a strong foundation in Statistics and Biostatistics with a B.Sc. from Loyola College, Chennai, and an M.Sc. from ICMR – National Institute of Epidemiology. He began his career at Pfizer, where he worked on clinical trial data using SDTM, ADaM, and TLF standards, gaining extensive experience in statistical programming with SAS, R, and Python.
Kiran later transitioned to the public health sector, contributing significantly to ophthalmology research at Prasho Foundation and leading data modeling initiatives under the Orbis project. His responsibilities included developing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), managing large datasets, and building predictive models to support global eye health programs.
Curious and reflective by nature, Kiran enjoys exploring new ideas, reading, and solving problems through data. He believes in continuous growth and using statistical insights to make meaningful impact in education and health sectors.
