ACEP 2025–2026 Training: A Collective Step Forward

12th–15th May 2025 | Prayoga Campus, Bengaluru

The Academic Coordinator Empowerment Program (ACEP) 2025–2026 training brought together 35 Academic Coordinators (ACs) and 5 Senior Academic Coordinators (SACs) from across Karnataka for four days of learning, reflection, and growth at Prayoga’s Bengaluru campus.

The Academic Coordinator Empowerment Program (ACEP) is designed to strengthen the Academic Coordinators at Prayoga. They play a pivotal role as mentors and leaders within their schools and communities. The program imparts science knowledge, curriculum alignment, and mentoring skills necessary for Kriya's upcoming year in partner schools.

Academic Coordinators are not just facilitators for science classes, but crucial mentors who guide teachers in classroom planning, reflection, and professional growth. They are encouraged to take the initiative and lead by example, learning from one another’s experiences. Sessions for this ACEP included guidance on scheduling block periods, managing class distributions, and conducting observations — essential skills for effective mentorship. These courses were in preparation for the upcoming academic year 2025-26 across schools in Karnataka.

The training blended theory and practice. Participants refreshed their understanding of core science concepts with interactive quizzes and discussions, led by expert faculty at Prayoga who made complex ideas relatable. Hands-on activities like simple experiments helped build confidence in explaining science through real-world examples. Equally important were sessions on community engagement and assertive communication, equipping ACs to strengthen school-community ties and handle challenges with confidence.

Reflective conversations led by Prayoga’s leadership offered a platform for coordinators to openly share challenges and collaboratively seek solutions. This openness and teamwork reinforced a shared commitment to professional growth and improving learning environments.  It was truly heartening to see the entire Prayoga team come together on campus, united in purpose and spirit. “When we listen without judgment and speak without fear, real learning begins,” reminded Dr. H.S. Nagaraja, encouraging the crowd.

The four days left Academic and Senior Academic Coordinators with renewed confidence, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of their role. As they returned to their schools, many carried with them a clear sense of direction, ready to apply their learning in meaningful ways.
