Enable Teacher Empowerment 

Teaching the Teachers: Building Better Education  

At the heart of every thriving classroom is a confident, well-equipped teacher. 

The Teacher Empowerment Program (TEP) is designed to nurture and uplift educators through intensive, 4-day training sessions, twice a year.

Planned for a period of 5-years, every residential workshop of the TEP includes hands-on sessions and education theory that brings science education to life in the classroom.

Currently, one of our programs, Kriya, is transforming over 300 teachers and their approach to teaching science. This program is impacting over 11,000 students across Karnataka.

But the journey is far from over. For just ₹20,000 per teacher per year, you can sponsor a teacher’s transformation for an entire year, covering all training, courseware and training resources, accommodation, and related costs.  

 

This Teacher Empowerment Program:

  • Enhances classroom teaching practices  

  • Equips teachers with experiential learning tools  

  • Benefits hundreds of students through each empowered teacher 

 

We seek your support to sponsor a teacher’s full-year participation in the Teacher Empowerment Program. Contributions in multiples of ₹20,000 are welcome. 

All donations made towards Prayoga’s education research programs are eligible for 100% tax benefits under section 35(I)(ii), An 80GGA certificate will be issued against the same.  

The Teacher Empowerment Program helped me completely rethink how I teach science. As I began using more hands-on methods and simplifying concepts for my students, I saw a real difference—not just in their learning, but in my confidence as an educator.
