D. N. Prahlad is a distinguished alumnus of Bangalore University and the Indian Institute of Science, where he earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.E. in Electrical Technology and Electronics. As the founder and chairman of Surya Software Systems in Bangalore, he leads two companies focused on financial control and high-end digital AI services. Prahlad played a key role in the growth of Infosys Technologies, serving as an independent director and chairing its Risk and Strategy committee. He is actively involved in academia, advising the Indian Institute of Science and Sri Satya Sai University. His contributions to technology and education have earned him the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Indian Institute of Science.
