Prof. Jeffery Ullman
Jeffery Ullman is a Turing Award-winning computer scientist and the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Engineering (Emeritus) at Stanford University. A pioneer in algorithms, databases, automata theory and data mining, he has made groundbreaking contributions throughout his career at Bell Laboratories, Princeton, and Stanford. Jeff has authored 16 influential books, shaping both academic thought and industry practice. His accolades include the ACM A.M. Turing Award, the IEEE von Neumann Medal, the Knuth Prize, and election to the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Sciences. Jeff’s work continues to define the future of computer science research and education.
