Chaitra Muddappa Shirahatti is a Faculty-Trainee in Physics at Prayoga. She completed her M.Sc in Physics from Bangalore University in 2024. As part of her academic journey, Chaitra undertook a mini project on Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) measurements using the SOHO-LASCO CME catalog and conducted a study on long-term UV emission line correlations in the galaxy NGC 5548 using the IUE database. Though a fresher professionally, she brings a strong research interest in astronomy and astrophysics and is keen to pursue further studies in these areas. Chaitra is a passionate chess player and enjoys engaging in creative activities such as quilling art and writing poems in Kannada. She also finds joy in solving puzzles, including 2D, 3D, and floor puzzles, and has a deep appreciation for music and expression through art.
