Research Interests
• Synthesis of inorganic nanomaterial with diverse morphology and characterizing it employing various spectroscopic and microscopic techniques.
• Fabrication of unique SERS substrates of metal oxide, metal oxide metal hybrids, and polymer-metal composite by physical and chemical methods.
• Synthesis and prototyping of self-cleaning antimicrobial nanoformulation of inorganic nanoparticles.
• Fabrication and prototyping of gas sensors, electrolyzer, and resistive switching devices.
• Synthesis of nano additives of graphene and molybdenum sulphides for tribological applications.

Biography
Dr. Ramya Prabhu is a dynamic researcher at Prayoga with a Ph.D. in Material Chemistry, specializing in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic nanomaterials. Her work on shape and size-controlled syntheses of MoS2 and WO3 nanomaterials has gained recognition in various applications, from environmental sensing to electrocatalysis. She has been awarded the prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI, and has earned several accolades, including a gold medal for securing the highest marks in M.Sc. Applied Chemistry at Mangalore University. Dr. Prabhu's research interests include nanomaterials, plasmonic, surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy, antimicrobials, and gas sensing. She previously served as a Research Associate at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences and has extensive teaching experience at Vikas P.U. College and VVPU College.
