Amritha Arvind is the Head of HR at Prayoga, holding an MBA in Human Resources from ICFAI and having completed a leadership program at IIM Bangalore. She began her career in a non-combat role in the Armed Forces, focusing on personnel management. Her journey then led her into labor compliance as an FLA-authorized auditor, assessing labor practices in garment factories across South India. Amritha transitioned into the corporate world with Reuters India, where she managed India HR operations on Oracle 11i and gained comprehensive exposure to all facets of HR. Her career advanced through leadership roles at Fusion Consulting, Export Trading Group, and Lake Oil Group in Africa. Upon returning to India, she continued to drive impactful HR strategies at Sowparnika Projects & Infrastructure and KEF Infrastructure. Amritha is a people’s person with a deep passion for cultures, communities, and conversations. A true outdoor enthusiast, she finds joy in road-tripping, exploring remote corners of the country, and engaging with local traditions. An award-winning rally participant and recipient of the President’s Award for Girl Guiding, she also enjoys quieter moments with her cats, knitting needles, and a scenic road ahead.
